TWR’s approach to the Supercat debut focuses on its striking exterior design, which pays homage to the original XJS while introducing contemporary elements. Constructed largely from carbon fiber, the body underwent an extensive development process spanning “tens of thousands of hours.” From the imposing chin spoiler to the aggressive wheel arches and retro-styled wheels, every detail exudes a sense of power and sophistication.
Inspired by iconic Jaguar racing models like the XJR-9 and XJ220, the Supercat promises significant improvements in mass and aerodynamics, though specific details regarding dimensions and weight are yet to be revealed. Limited to just 88 units—a nod to the XJR-9’s Le Mans victory in 1988—the Supercat commands a starting price of approximately £225,000 ($281,000), making it a coveted collector’s item for automotive enthusiasts worldwide. With availability in the UK and major international markets, including the United States, the TWR Supercat heralds a new era of vintage-inspired performance and technology.
